I finally caught the travel bug after a trip to Kangaroo Island in Dec 2009. What followed were recurring daydreams about travelling around Australia and the world. Three weeks later, I was on a plane to Brisbane, a bus to the Sunshine Coast and a 4WD on Fraser's Island. Within a month, I had stayed in three different hostels and made backpacker friends with whom I plan to travel in the near future. This winter break, I plan to do an extended tour through Kakadu and Uluru. Come summer, I'll be in Tasmania. This is the plan and if it pulls through, perhaps I'll throw in sky-diving too.

I went to Uluru in high school. It looks like all the other big rocks out there :-) Really amazing scenery though, definitely worth the excursion.
